About Us
TrulyHome was founded in Houston in 2017 and certified as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2018.
All of our homes, including our next project sketched at left, feature elevated construction and large front porches.
Why Our Work Is So Important
From the National Low Income Housing Coalition:
"Across Texas, there is a shortage of rental homes... available to extremely low income households... Many of these households are severely cost burdened, spending more than half of their income on housing."
Right-Sized
Our homes are smaller than most to produce lower energy bills and protect the environment. We maximize the efficiency of every square foot through careful design, as in this kitchen.
